Maze Of Bears is a wrapping grid-based puzzle game in which to find your lost cats, you must evade bearsbullsspiderswolveslasers , land minesfireicepits, and bear traps. To solve each of the 150 levels you'll learn how to pushpullrubiks-slidedefusemirror-bouncestealthheatfreezeclimbdigteleporttornadoclone and sneak.

Every level has a new idea. Starting simply, you'll soon learn how to use each of the 16 different bonus powers to manipulate the interactions between the 30 different types of block. Things slowly get very complicated, especially given that every level wraps the top and bottom, left and right of the screen. Fortunately the hint system spells out how to complete every level, so you won't get stuck.

Add to that a simple to use Level Editor, and a customisable Random Level Generator, so there's that...

PC demo has 36 levels available. Feedback would be massively appreciated.

If you like the demo and want try the rest of the 150 levels you can purchase the full version.

Is the game version final? It's marked as released in the info, but the version number 0-07, and the thread below about glitches in a couple of levels, make me doubt if it's a beta stage.

This was quite fun to play through, even though I got stuck on a few of them.

I'm enjoying this game, but I can't seem to complete the "Panda-Mine-Yum" level. I've been looking at the hints but they make no sense, like they're not talking about the same level I'm looking at, and I can't think of any way to solve it either.

Any help?

Apologies I think that one is glitched. The mines should push the blocks one extra space along.

That makes sense. Thanks for the reply, I thought I was going crazy trying to solve it, heh.

Having played through the rest of the levels now, I think "Shifty-Block-Stopper" may also be broken because the telekinesis power seems bugged while standing on ice (it moves things as far as possible instead of one tile at a time). Or maybe there's a way to work around that that I haven't discovered yet.

I really enjoyed the game overall, though!
